Don’t rely solely on routine tests to protect you from cancer. It’s also important to listen to your body and notice anything that seems different, strange, or unclear.

Several types of cancer, including leukemia and lung tumors, can cause symptoms similar to a bad cough or bronchitis. Some lung cancer patients experience chest pain that radiates to the shoulder or arm.

Did you know that cancer cells thrive in an acidic environment? Cancer cells grow in an acidic environment, but they cease to exist in an alkaline environment.

3_ Fever or recurrent infections

These may be signs of leukemia, a cancer of blood cells that starts in the bone marrow. Leukemia causes the bone marrow to produce abnormal white blood cells, which compromises the body’s ability to fight infections.

4_Difficulty swallowing

Problems swallowing are often associated with esophageal or throat cancer and are sometimes one of the first signs of lung cancer.

5_ Swollen lymph nodes or bumps in the neck, under the arms or in the thigh

Enlarged lymph nodes indicate changes in the lymphatic system, which may be a sign of cancer.

6_ Excessive bruising or bleeding that doesn’t stop

This symptom usually indicates that something is abnormal with the platelets and red blood cells, which may be a sign of leukemia. Over time, leukemia cells outcompete red blood cells and platelets, impairing the blood’s ability to carry oxygen and clot.

7_ Weakness and fatigue
